A short hop up the coast
Toda y we planned a short hop up the coast to a small fishing harbour and community called Pāvilosta, about 28 miles away. Pāvilosta can only be entered in light wind conditions as the mouth of the harbour is very shallow, 3 metres or so and if there was any swell, there would be a danger that the boat would ground as you tried to get in.
