As we drove down the driveway (knowing Eric, Liz and the kids were there to welcome us - as they always come to Post Mills for the 4th) we found a big banner of crepe paper and a FINISH sign we had to drive through to break through it to truly finish the journey....  Liz and Eric had supper ready, and we were happy to be home.  Tilly and Belle took right to the field, rolled in the grass ...

... and make maple syrup. They also pack cheese there and that was very interesting. We drove through a covered bridge, and went to see some of the trains at the junction. Steve wanted to take a ride, but we found out about it too late so that will be a good reason to come back... We plan on leaving here ...

We left York Beach and drove across New Hampshire into Vermont today. There is a hot air balloon festival in the area this weekend so the campgrounds are full. We pulled in the parking lot and happened to get a spot that a lady had called and cancelled 5 minutes before we got here!!! wow! It rained all the way here and is steadily raining tonight. We are hoping for some break in the rain ...

... cupcakes (my favorite!). We listened to a great book on tape on the way up - that made the trip superfast. At Gram Anne's, we made homemade pizzas, watched the mother fox and three baby foxes who live in her yard, looked out for the mother and baby bear, went to the Montshire Science Museum, a super fun museum with lots of cool exhibits, and also had a party at Auntie Brinna's house on Saturday night. I got to see ...

I got home from Arizona and only had three days to get all of my stuff ready and leave for NYC to catch my plane for India. I was able to pull everything together but ended up spending a small fortune on vaccinations, medicines, etc. Luckily I had dawnkwan around to help me out!

We left David after a hearty breakfast of bacon and eggs, and headed south, the day was wet and the RV and truck are now quite dirty. We arrived at Manchester Vermont late afternoon and visited a few stores at the local outlet mall prior to finding our Campsite. We are currently camped right next to the Battenkill River, a famous trout ...

We are just about ready to start this adventure - all systems (literally!) are go, pretty much packed, just getting things in order at the house so Phil Mason can settle in while we are away.  I wanted to try the picture aspect of the blog, so bear with me while I enclose a picture of the camper from last year....
