... or I will no doubt be sick (again)!
I will add some photo's when I arrive on the isle of Tasmania, and I will write again once I am over the jet lag.
Goodbye for now my lovely friends and family.. see you all in 6 months or so!! Love Julia x x x
... finest art pieces such as the Salvador Dali masterpiece Christ of St John of the Cross, which has been at the museum/art gallery since June 1952. There was also plenty of minerals/rocks/crystals on display... particularly huge green and pink fluorite crystals (im talking 20cmX30cm!), as well as a collection of early hominid skulls and bones which took me back to my sweet uni days with the geology crew... Immiss you guys alot!! So... I was totally in my element ...
Lancaster, England, United Kingdom katie.pitt... stuff is planned.
Now we are starting to get an idea of which are the 'must not be missed' places along the way - we can't possibly see everywhere and experience everything but shortlisting is going to be tricky!
The current plan is....
India - Sri Lanka - Singapore - Australia - New Zealand - Fiji - Argentina - Uruguay
Can't wait!
... area, lawn tennis courts, a band stand and a cafe! We had a great time.

... DW Stadium (JJB renamed - long story - you'll have to read the book I bought John on the life of Dave Whelan - he was a local who established JJB stadium for use by both league and football and has now set up his own company DW in competition with JJB in the sportsgoods business) and to watch the Kangaroos play in person. I've only ever watched them on TV. As John said, there was no real booming atmosphere, but the crowd was ...
Wigan, England, United Kingdom pollies... Aunts house reciting my mission of being quiet under my breath. Of course, being in the drunken state that i was in (zoes fault...) I forgot to lock the door, had a 15 minute conversation with Jeffrey the Cat (I wouldnt know if he bit me again or not), tip toed up the stairs, hushed a creaking floor-board quiet, and went to sleep- probably immediately?? I woke up the next DAY around 11:30pm, right in time for lunch.. haha and then stayed at my Aunts for ...
Lancaster, England, United Kingdom katie.pittTow truck 2, turns up at 15:29 and we are off again for the next leg of the journey, Stirling Services to Lancaster Services. This journey takes around 4 hours and I have a nice chat with the driver, Jim all the way. We phone ahead and arrange the next tow truck to meet us at Lancaster at 19:15, guess what? Yes, it wasn't there and I am told it won't be there until 20:15 and it finally arrives at 20:30
Lancaster, England, United Kingdom peterward... probably right. The towns of Oban and Fort William are not far away provided you want to spent a day's wages on the ferries. Move the headland to the Mediterranean and it would be a very desirable residence. Photos everywhere of the family and friends on various occasions...mostly weddings. The floors are linked by a very narrow, sandstone, winding staircase. Wide enough for one man to defend the castle with a sword. Another reason why it would be difficult to ...
Fort William Scotland, United Kingdom brianc... Mugabe was thought-provoking and rather troubling. Unfortunately as there are no oil supplies to be gained there, this form of terror continues unabated without international intervention.
Back in Liverpool, we spent the evening in a couple of pubs around Mathew Street and the Cavern Club, getting the full appreciation of the Beatles cashing-in that is going on in the city. I wonder how much more cultured this milking could possibly be come 2008.
John took me to Blackpool. He may have wanted to show me a UK beach resort. The street along the beach was full of decorations. I took a picture of his profile in the car. It was just a memory of Blackpool. We were on the way from Preston, where we met his old friend, and John talked about the word "love", because people there used "love" meaning "you" very often, when they talk to someone, like "Good morning, love!". That sounded awkward to him.
