      ... We both took a dip that helped wash of the efforts of the morning as well as provide relief from the hot afternoon sun. For me it was then a couple of hours of watching Le Tour while Fiona went and bought a new pair of sandals. I'm not sure they are exactly what she went looking for, but they are very stylish.

      ... we got to the beach. It was sand thank goodness, or at least part of it was. Into the water we all we went. The water was a lovely deep blue and extremely clear. There was a pont a few hundred metres away with a diving borad so we spent a while swimming, sunning ourselves and playing about.
