... floods and devastation. A lot has happened while we've been away but we have been proud of the way our state has rebounded and are moving forward.
We're excited to be getting home tomorrow. We’ve been very fortunate through all our travels and have enjoyed sharing our adventures with our friends and family. We’re glad I wrote the blog because it’s already hard to remember some of the names of places we’ve been!
A long day of travel but I made it! Knoxville through Chicago to Newark. I waited about an hour for Claudia to arrive but then we scouted about the airport and shared a pizza for dinner. Yogi in the Smokies is ten times better
than the Yogi we stayed at in Sturbridge MA. Friendly, helpful staff,
lots of activities, well stocked shop. The weather wasn't great, it
rained on and off constantly but there were still breaks in the
weather to enjoy the pool. We were parked near the river which was
very pretty and peaceful.
