Carretera de Blanes 78 Lloret de Mar, Costa Brava, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands, 17310, 972-365-512
... this period of year there are mostly aged people resting there, however I noticed there a lot of clubs near the beaches, so I consider that in summer this town is full of students. The beaches are sandy and what is important all those beaches are public. And one more thing - there are NO PRIVATE BEACHES in Lloret de Mar!
Lloret de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands eleoshkaGreetings from Santa cruz, la palma, canary islands, spain.

What Tenerife had in city life on the sea, la palma does not. This is more of a sleepy Spanish colonial city on the sea with cliffs rising straight out of the sea and narrow black sand beaches. Carla and I walked into town today for a look at this quaint city and immediately I felt good here. It reminded me of Antigua, Guatemala, very narrow cobblestone streets, Spanish colonial architecture ...
Santa Cruz de la Palma, Canary Islands, Spain and Canary Islands cruiseone2003... are really good at building blocks of flats, so there are loads of those around too. I live in a really big house with a Catalan women, her boyfriend and another lodger. It´s about 20 minutes walk from the school. Feels a bit like we´re in the countryside cos you can hear roosters crowing in the morning and there are 2 big alsatians for company in the house. It´s pretty cold here, way colder than madrid (which was high 20s every day ...
Granollers, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands dave-mcgowan... and very promising until we got out of the car and explored. The village is obviously quite new, and rents must be high, as the prices were high too! How disappointing. We returned to the car with time on our hands and made a decision to visit Tossa De Mar.

Chris & Milly had stayed at Tossa on a previous visit to Spain and raved about it, so we set ...

Tossa de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands nanofino... to be of that mindset, if I'm even allowed to have an opinion being an American) Anyway that's the very brief history of Catalunya as a part of Spain and France. Catalan is spoken and written everywhere here (and every place we visited this weekend). It's a beautiful language, a mixture of spanish and french, but it's own unique entity as well. I wish I could understand it-that would make maneuvering Barcelona a lot smoother.
Anyway Besalu was ...
Girona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands aspinmaster... half - v v v v v v briefly and only to me. I tried to take a photo but only got one of the locals.....oh well

We then headed back to town to drop off the car...no real dramas other than v heavy traffic.

We then went on to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral - that was started in late 1800's and only has 25-30 ...
Tossa de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands buckgw... has a patio on the roof with a gorgeous view of the old town. It would be great to hang out but I only have an hour or so before sunset to see the city. Again, I walk along the top of the town wall's fortifications. At sunset, I made it to a great overlook of the 14th-century cathedral. It is supposed to have an amazing interior but I am far too late. I just enjoy the sunset behind the cathedral with the mountains as a backdrop.

The ...
Girona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands will.traveller... feel like i am touching the sun. We went back to the campsite bar hoping to further develop our representations. Unfortunately nothing was going on and we soon left. After this we bravely approached a group of girls (of which none of them i was interested in Tiff because you are amazing) on the beach but due to a lack of language skills ...
