Spent yesterday doing the Jaungfrau, took whole day but struck it lucky with the most magnifcent weather. Met up with Catherine & Michael, they walked home we took the train. The views of the Swiss Alps where stunning, could see Italy Germany, AUstria & France. Only fproblem was altitiude effects and Oxygen deprevation at 3571 metres(11760 ft). We can now claim this o2 deprevation for all our memory problems. Trains all ran on time (like you expect in Switzerland). Saw cows with bells, very sm...

... but was unceremoniously woken up by the hostel owner literally barging into the room and telling us to get out or book another night...we had again forgotten about check-out times! We threw all of our stuff in our bags, and the girls fell out of bed and we booked it out of there. We poor little nomads sat in the town center sitting on our bags trying to figure out a plan of action...Teresa and I took off for another hostel we ...

Cutting myself on Swiss Knifes

... on a half hour cable cart ride of death. I call it this because I am terrified of heights and sat outside the cable cart place for 20 minutes trying to psych myself up. Once on the cart I sat perfectly still and barely looked out the window as it was about 10 stories in the air the whole time.

Off to Genoa Italy next. Budget Breaker

... river. You wear a harness and get lowered into the narrow canyon. Then you have to jump, slide and climb your way through. It was pretty fun, but I wasn't very great at jumping 10 m into the bottom at the waterfall (if you landed anywhere else you could hit rocks). After, I checked into my hostel. It was right on the lake. Very nice. I went for a walk along the lake and saw a campground. Outside of the campground's fence, three Brits had set up ...

Guess what I had for tea...FONDU!

... today in Germany (I've been to Germany!! Country proximity still spins me out) which was beautiful. And then it is national day on the 1st so will have a big party to go to with christa and lots of fireworks and fun!! Wicked! So life is good, very complicated at times and confusing but I am used to going with the flow now (not how I operate at home at all being an organized list person!) and things are always turning out great. Homeward Bound

I never thought this day would come but it is actually time to go home. It's not sad because I know that this is only the start of my travels. I've been around the world and yet I've only scratched the surface. I don't have a single regret about this trip. It was the only way to put myself on the path of the life I hope to lead. I learned that I'll never get anywhere if I don't get on the ...

On to Switzerland

... way to Geneva to visit a friend. It was nice to be able to visit with someone in clear English for a while. Once in Geneva, we again took to the streets. We walked about 8 blocks to our hotel, got situated, and then walked down the shore of the lake for a mile for so. It's really pleasant here - not nearly as cold as we expected. We were comfortable in only light jackets, even near the water. I think we'd enjoy spending a little more time ...

"Never get less than 12 hours sleep, never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city, and never go near a woman who's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick with that, everything else is cream cheese." *Coach Bobby Finstock. Emily shared she had taken a Hitchcock class in school. That took up a good half hour of conversation, Hitch being my ...
