    After treatment, lunch and a siesta, we headed up to the exquisitely beautiful village of St Nicholas de Veroce.     ... you are not in the middle of an unusually hot summer. And guess what?

    Well, the evening outdoor temps are decent so you can open your windows to cool down. Do you know what the French word for "window screen" is? Don't bother looking it up, there isn't one. And guess what else? Open windows with flowers hanging right outside attract birds. See pic.
