    ... time. Today I'd already put to once side as a right off, so anything achieved is a bonus.

    I was debating how much detail to go into on these blogs this time. This is quite a lot of writing for quite a lot of nothing much. But quite a nice quote from Her is: "The past is just a story we tell ourselves." And this is my story for when I'm gray and old it should be as complete as possible.     ... actually sure of the time - all my clocks say something different at the moment - I'll sort the time tomorrow!

    I was greeted at the hotel with a glass of fizz and, after dumping my stuff, I had a quick look at the roof - amazing is all I have to say! I will definitely be up there tomorrow, even if it's raining!!

    The view from my room is pretty cool as well, but now, bed - and just look at all my pillows!! ...

    ... hipsters come to hang out. It was clear from their clothing and fluency in English that they were much more well off than a lot of brazilians I had seen, but they were very nice and easy to get along with. Turns out they have a band so we exchanged Facebook info and I'm hopefully going to jam with them in a few days! Finally, around 6am, it was time for bed. I crashed immediately and I just woke up.     ... market on the way and then it was a day of lying on the beach relaxing to prepare for the Favela party we were attending that evening. Favela is the term for a slum in Brazil and on Sunday nights they have a party in a big warehouse in the Favela. We were told this was an unmissable event in Rio and so a group of us went along.
