    I initially did not intend to see Brazil. The sheer size of the country and the Portuguese daunted me. Best leave Brazil for another trip, I thought. But when my flight home happened to be scheduled to leave from São Paulo, and since I had some extra time on my hands, I realised that it would be stupid to not at least spend some days in Brazil before heading home. ¿Por que no?

    ... place is honestly beautiful, filled with wacky wall art and street sellers. If you are ever in Brazil, I could not recommend Santa Teresa more as it is completely stunning and relatively unknown to most tourists!
    Here we found the most incredible tiled steps, with different tiles donated from around the world, and people playing Brazilian tunes on some crazy instruments.

    It was then back to our cute little abode, for some last sun and a farewell.

    ... ve had in years (Corner Bistro - you’ve met your match). Give it was a day of airports and flying we tucked into some comfort food while watch USA play Portugal.
