46 kms.... AM - Another wonderful breakfast choice in our 4**** hotel, what else! The rain had gone, as predicted, and the sky was clear and sunny as we headed out of Brno. Left town through a seedy looking suburban area, I guess most cities have these areas. We followed a cycle track, sealed, along a small creek which we rode for kilometres until we reached a beautiful forest area, that clean, alpine ...

... the reception area is in the inner courtyard in the middle of the building but there is a domed glass roof over what would have been open to the elements! The lifts are on the outside of the building, they are all glass & steel, Lana was a bit queasy going up in it and looking out into nothing!! Went for a wander through the centre of Brno which is only a rats throw from our luxurious Barcelo Brno Palace ...

We stopped in Laa for an ice cream and a Gatorade, it ...

... hygiene standards are the rule in this part of the Republic.

After about 45 minutes, the buses pulled up at another station past the problem and we were soon on our way again to Brno - arriving to a warm 30C+ (at last) just after 1:00 p.m.

We arrived at our apartment at 1:30 and were told that it would not be ready until 2, so we gallantly offered to go and have a beer while waiting. 1 Litre later, we checked in and set about ...

Wednesday evening we supported the local establishments but participating in a pub crawl :) and also showed our tourist side. The pub crawl met under the astrological clock tower which is a huge clock that not only shows the time but aligns with the astrological signs. The crawl was pretty fun, we got to meet some other Americans that were traveling and get to know some of our classmates. It made getting up for the museum ...
