We got an early start today and headed south. We tried to get the sails up a few times but the winds weren't favourable. It was an extremely hot day, perfect for being on the water. We enjoyed navigating our way south, seeing some of the same places from a different perspective.
We were passing by Henry's famous fish and chips restaurant around lunch time and decided to stop. We had stopped ...

... and coke were worth it. Today is sunny and 27c, a lovely day.

Tomorrow is the last day of our road trip. We head off to Niagara Falls and then back to Toronto. Should be a good night. The PanAm games start in Toronto tomorrow and there's a heap of activities on all night. We've booked a different hotel, within walking distance of everything.

    Having a great time,

Kaye and I did get a chance to go out and go snow shoeing around the lake and through the trees which was great fun and not as difficult as you might think. The snow shoes these days are mad of light aluminium tubing and plastic webbing with light metal crampons for the ice beneath. You certainly build up some heat walking ...

... side by side for 20kms at about 70km/h, very tedious. At times we came across stretches of the freeway that had a slight grey tinge to them which Paul said was ice and driving became slippery, even though people barely reduced their speeds. Apparently if you make any sudden moves then that's a problem. In fact along one 15km stretch there were about 10 cars which had left the freeway and speared straight into snow banks on ...
