Pulled into town.
Nice and warm now. Maybe 18C. We found a spot to park and walk for a bit.
We decided to hit a patio overlooking the water. Really nice place. It gave us a chance to sit and reflect. Nice and warm in the Sun
Lunch was a round of scallops each. Couple of pasta dishes and a steak sandwich.

Nothing special on this post. Just made a choice to fuel up and head out of town.
Finally I can drive and feel my fingers. I realized that I had been driving with all my jacket vents open. No wonder I was so effin cold before..lol
Lots of bikes on the road and many waves as they pass.
... leave in the morning to cross Rice Lake. As usual we are not sure how far we’ll get, but the next lock, at Hastings, is 37 miles away. We hope to get there.
So far our trip has lived up to our expectations. The scenery is spectacular and we have met some very nice fellow cruisers. Oh, and Charlie didn’t jump ship today. ...
We departed Fenelon Falls through the first lockage at 9AM in the cool rain. The rain lightened to a drizzle, then a mist for most of the day. High temp was just past 60.
Another boat we had been traveling with, the "Heart Tug" was stopping at Bobcaygeon but we wanted to put in more than 15 miles so we continued on to Lovesick lock 30. This is one of the most remote and scenic locks in the system. There are no roads to ...
... microwave. We've been making do with our propane bbq grill for cooking. The generator works occasionally so when it does we make coffee and cook. I think the problem is in the voltage regulator. The engine runs fine but we sometimes only get 80 volts which isn’t good for electronic things like the microwave. Our refrigerator runs off the batteries so we have that. So ...
