    It was somewhat cooler as we travelled through the higher elevations of the park. It was so refreshing. When we first talked about visiting Joshua Tree National Park, I wasn't sure if I would be interested or like it - I am so glad we did. It was quite an experience.

    ... waiting a long time for that ride. The first ride we went on was Soarin' which is an IMAX-like plane ride through California hitting all of the popular spots. Great cinematography and was pretty cool seeing some of the places that we've already been from a different view. Next up was "California Screaming" which is the big roller coaster. Shayna was pretty excited as she was tall enough for this ride especially after the fact that she wasn't tall enough for the big roller coaster ...
