    ... Cars ride, which wasn't operating so we ate at Flo's Diner while we waited for it to reopen. Close to Flo's we watched a street production where a group of performers show up on the street and start a dance party with one of the Cars vehicles. Throughout the day there was a ragtime band that drove around the park playing music and entertaining everyone.     ... anything saying we should avoid it so we went for it. We had to drive back up to Victorville and from there take highway18 to 247 to 62. It turned out to be an awesome drive, maybe even better than our original route. There wasn’t much traffic, it had some really beautiful scenery along the way and the biggest wind farm I had ever seen.

    ... Palm Springs area. Certainly looked like the wind farms had expanded immensely since we were in the area in 2008. Wow!!! Stayed at an RV park just barely in Indio-- La Quinta on the other side of the street. Very nice park except for a lack of wifi (maybe actually had it but we arrived after office closed).     ... that at first the warthogs were scared of Noodle and ran, but they are getting braver and a couple have even charged him when he goes after them. We watched and laughed at the exchange among the animals.
