... Today we had our first Weinerschnitzel and a Date Shake. Both were Delicious!!! I know I like hot dogs, but never could imagine drinking a date shake.....it was yummy though.

We are heading to Yuma, AZ to do some exploring...see how we like it there and try to decided if it's a place we want to spend some time for the winter months.

Hope everyone is doing well. Hope you enjoy the pictures. Lots

All the Snow Birds had recently left so it was just us and a few other rvs. When we got out of the truck the air felt fantastic and I could definitely sense why people love it here so much. We have crossed so many rivers and creeks on this trek of ours but the amount of water, if any, is negligible. Here at Thousand Palms we struck out on the McCallum Trail to McCallum Pond and then over towards the Vista Point and Moon Country trails. ...

Indio, California. If you have heard of this city then you must have heard of the insane heat and the ample amount of palm trees found literally everywhere. Indio is one of several cities found in the Coachella Valley. Yes, during the summer mostly everyone stays inside due to the 120 degree weather. But in the winter, the weather is perfect. The winter is time for many visitors from Canada, Arizona, Mexico and more. People always ask me, "What is there to do over there? It looks so boring!" Well ...
