... where you have to work your way through various rooms which are all mirrored, have weird and wonderful lights going off (or are pitch black) and you have to find your way from room to room. We got 'stuck/lost’ in the maze room for quite some time (we simply could not find the door to the next room) but eventually after a good 30-40 minutes we were back in the outside world again. It was quite good fun.

... The signs were letting everyone know that some trees are being felled tomorrow and these sites are to be vacant. You've guessed it, the site we wanted that the other people were on is one of them. So we moved back past the amenities and parked facing the river there. We felt a little sorry for the others as they had to pack, move and unpack. There are only two other campers apart from the site stealers, here with us. A young couple in a tent and an off roader that came in ...

          Park! It was great fun!

          The ride down was
easy and we stopped at the Mountview Alpaca Farm. We got quite
distracted by a pile of golden retrievers in the driveway. We rubbed
and hugged them for quite some time. Moet, the young male, was a
peach. He would paw you when you stopped adoring him. I loved Toffee,
the old male who pretty much melted to the gravel when I started ...

We are off to the Outback Spectacular tonite. Buses picked us up at 5 PM, and travelled for about an hour via the Nerang Road then the M1 Gold Coast Highway to Oxenford. The road over the mountains to Nerang was quite windy in places and steep, up to 14% grade and one of the buses had a bit of trouble with the steep bits, so we left them behind. The show includes ...

Particularly the "tea for two" Peach iced tea, and two mini bottles of Gordon's Gin for $17. Swing as we had saved $55, we decided to treat ourselves. Home at last, one of the many events on Tina's 'festival of Tina' birthday tour was ...
