... Felicity kindly offered to put me up for the night. My final afternoon flew by, I had some shopping to get which was a great excuse to spend a bit of time wandering around Loft, a department store focused more on fun than functional. I also had a hair appointment at 6pm at Sin Den. I had heard about it from a couple of girls I met first time around in Tokyo. I haven't had my hair cut since the bodge job in Cuzco back in September. A ...

Tokyo, Kanto, Japan tbassplayer... before I cancelled it. It could have been much worse. That night I celebrated by eating sashimi (which isnt cheap) and drinking saki. The next day was my last in Japan I bought a present for the staff in the hotel who had not really helped me out but I had hung around the hotel a lot with no money so I was grateful. I went to the airport and actually made it out of Japan. I have to say I was quite relieved I hadn't been lucky in Japan. Besides, Japanese ...
Tokyo, Kanto, Japan martin84... illusions as you can see from the photographs below. We then left Tokyo tower and headed to the infamous Roppongi district (nightclubbing). We got lost and had to take a taxi, but cest la vie. We then went into a bar called "GasPanic" and it was happy hour, but it was dead in there. We stayed for 2 drinks and headed to a Japanese Bar for dinner. Once again we put our shoes into lockers and sat down. Rocky and Emi wanted to try the Wine and I said yeah and ditto for Kara ...
Tokyo, Kanto, Japan gumbylives... ostrove v tokijskom zalive.
Tokyo, Kanto, Japan mimiama... was a very nice hotel, it looked like any other Westin, and lacked any real Japanese character....especially the toilet! What a letdown. Not wanting to spend a moment longer than necessary in the hotel, we threw on our walking shoes and headed to the Daikanyama district. Arriving by foot some 30 minutes later, we were once again pleasantly surprised by another incredible neighborhood. While the architecture and design felt more like Aoyama, the shopping was on par with Naka Meguro and we ...
Tokyo, Japan jazzkat6... understand). I have to say, its weird sitting in a fancy cafe listening to Wu-Tang swearing, or walking through a toy store playing Snoop. Most girls and guys in Shibuya actually tan alot to make themselves darker, and there's some style of girls that are almost black (melanoma anyone?) and dress in crazy exaggerated urban dress. Even on a Monday morning though, the girls here ...
Tokyo, Japan rpinto... us for this section of our travels, a 2-week tour of the highlights of Japan, and they arrived the day after us. This time, we're traveling with a group of 9 plus our tour guide -- 5 Americans, 2 English, and 2 Australians. Japan primarily practices the Shinto religion, but combines it with Buddhism -- we visited an extensive Buddhist temple complex near our hotel, as well the Shinto Meiji shrine in a beautiful ...
