... be charged for a two night stay... I had cheekily only booked for last night - but the lady on the desk informed me that if I was happy to wait till 5.30am, then I could check in for the one night only! Result! It got to a little after 5 and I think she took pity on me, allowing me into my room early. I slept for a few hours and then ventured out, my sole mission for the day was to book my train ticket. Lazy day although I did buy some clothes pegs so that I can do a bit of laundry in Burma. No clothes line yet but I'm sure I will be able to improvise. Early start tomorrow because we are off to Myanmar ...

Ok, so I wasn't thrilled to be heading back to Bangkok but in this case I didn't have any choice. The only embassy for Myanmar was in Bangkok, so to Bangkok I must go.

My hotel had arranged the bus to Bangkok for me, my first time preference was sold out so I took the one afterwards, this meant getting into Bangkok a little later but I preferred that then having to get out of bed earlier, lol. After my breakfast I checked out and had some free time before I headed off to the ...

... didn’t try them not even after a few beers. We couldn’t even get a picture unless we paid 10 baht, I can’t believe people make a living from collecting and cooking up creepy creatures.

We only had one full day in Bangkok and decided to go out on a long tail boat to see the floating markets, which turned out to be hilarious as the floating market consisted of 3 woman in their small canoe boats selling tat. Despite this the long tail boat ...
