... our old condo, Eastpointe I. Everything is still the same so I guess the hurricane's have spared everything on the island. Tonight is seafood again at Juno Beach Fish house and then off to bed. We need to be out of here about 10:00 a.m. tomorrow so that we can board the ship in Fort Lauderdale at around noon after we return the rental beast.

Second, we visited the Navy SEAL Museum. It was so impressive to see all the Army's equipment. Outside, we could see different replicas of boats and helicopters used by the American army! My favorite part was the training course that I had the chance to try (see the video). I met a dog trained for army. He was so smart! I really liked my experience at this museum!

... with a headsail out we scooted into sunset bay marina. Been here a week getting the last of the jobs done. Nice to be on a mooring away from the mozzies.
the most pressing job is getting the hawkey depth sounder to work. It started to work fine when fitted, then slowly stopped working by the time we got here. Changed the transducer and still doesnt have the energy to make it through the hull. So after waiting all weekend ...

We attended a fund raiser for the Salvation Army sponsored by the local Parrothead Club and went to see the Hobbit in 3D (which was great), We ride our boat bikes at least 6 miles a day just going to the showers and laundry and office and into Stuart for the Farmer's Market every Sunday morning. Thursday, April 26 - We left the Leeward Yacht Club at 8:30 a.m. on a very hot day . We motor sailed with a SW breeze at around 10 knots and arrived at 6 pm at Great Sale Cay. There were 3 trawlers and one sailboat anchored but soon 5 other sailboats arrived. This is a favorite anchorage for boats traversing the Gulf Stream going east or west. It's the first and last stop in the Bahamas for many vessels as a harbor of refuge and a rest.
