Stayed at a best western In Katy, just outside of Houston. Managed to get a decent deal on a good room that I'm sure the dude made an **** of. Got up in the morning and went to the big mall before hitting the road again. Drove all the way to where Jamie's dad used to work in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Another best western! We get up in the morning ready for another long day of driving, but that wasn't to be. Another cracker here in the book of ...

Dave needed to go to a storage facility in town to pick up his inflatable dingy and needed help hoisting it up onto the roof of his car. So Denny said he'd help him in exchange for a ride back to Indiantown so we could pick up our car with our bikes in the back seat. So off we went. He helped them unload ...

... it difficult to have a bad meal. Greek cuisine for lunch and then tapas for dinner with Hope and her friend Eric. It’s all good…….both the company and the food.

So, here we are in the car moving west to Illinois and eventually Wisconsin. At this moment I wish we were still in Rockford for an hour less driving! It was great to wind things up with a visit to see Hope. Now home to the rest of family and friends. As the passenger, I have the time to ...
