... have seen dry brown Africa and we have seen wet green Africa, all in the space of a couple of weeks, it's now a beautiful lush green country, a pretty scenery for our 40 minute drive to Pennington Beach Resort. We arrived at the camp early to set up and sort people into rooms. ... to make sandwiches with a few of the other volunteers. We drove 5 minutes down the road to the local hospital clinic to hand out sandwiches, apples and a slip of paper with information about the Good News Centre and the free bible course of which 20 signed up!! There were so many people who line up and wait patiently all day to see a doctor.

Our next project was cancelled as no one turned up at school so we had a lazy couple ...

... Moses into the world the way I had hoped. And with the name Moses meaning "out of water" he arrived in the perfect way through his bath water birth. In Egyptian Moses means "Son" as well as the common use of the name here in Africa with Moses Zulu, who fought for Black peoples rights as well as Moses Mabihda who did likewise. After a week at bible school meeting more and more Christadelphian's from South Africa we are also questioning what our main purpose for being here this year may be. Maybe we've been looking in the wrong area and it's right in front of our face! Who knows, only time will tell. ...

... check it out, gorgeous food and great atmosphere! We were treated to a mid-morning snack of 2 smoothies, a lemon meringue cake, a scone with cream and a giant muffin between the two of us!
