... accommodation, most bedding and food. Mind you, the accommodation was very basic, we didn't eat much of the food because I helped in the kitchen and that was enough to turn me off, although it smelt incredible, the way Zulu's cook is not hygienic. James and Glen snuck down to KFC to get some dinner which worked out well because they were short of food. Dinner did look good, rice, chicken curry, mashed pumpkin and salad. ... and shiver at ragged tooth sharks was amusing, since I'd just been diving with them. African bird of prey sanctuary: i don't know much about raptors (carnivorous birds), so this was a great introduction. ... to my advantage and I was able to increase my pace a lot on the downhills. We met Shereen and Derrick right after the half way mark and I felt really strong, and running the same distance again didn’t seem to faze me. I remember jumping around to get infront of a photographer, I was so happy at that moment – I wanted it captured.

... We have also been learning Zulu, and we are all beginning to become slightly conversational! Yesterday, we learned how to sing the beginning of the Circle of Life from the Lion King. Did you know that was in Zulu? The things we are learning in the classroom are incredibly relevant to what we are experiencing outside the classroom, making this an overall great experience!

... could feel his heart skipping a beat and he was bailing!! I won't lay into him too much about his as I pretty much had my eyes closed the whole way up... When you get to the top you take turns to unclip yourself from the safey wire on the steps... then you have to climb down a two meter steel ladder that joins onto the jump platform... this was the worst part as you are sooo high up you can see all over durban and the beach and have to climb a slippery ladder... once on ...
