... The next day we all caught a Dolmus to Gumusluk, what an absolute typical wonderful Turkish village, the views were outstanding, couldn't take enough photos, what a lovely way to finish our fantastic holiday in Turkey.Today Gumusluk retains a small-scale, relaxed and magical atmospheree thanks to strictly enforced building prohibitions, designed to protect the ancient site. ... to where the lonesome post box was.We ate in a restaurant this week called The Secret Garden, it was superb, food, wine and staff brilliant, we would defiantly recommend it, in fact we will be going back there ourselves again. A lovely atmosphere and a very good price, there was a lot of choice as well, including a knickerbocker glory......... Friday evening after we got back to the villa skies opened and it poured and poured, there was thunder and lightening ...

... the chickens out to the North Sea! Chicken coops, dead and alive chickens went with the wind and out they went. never to be replaced. today Orkney specialises in cattle and sheep. A bit like King Island does in the Tasman Sea. so back to today, we do hope the breeze starts up again tomorrow as we start our bus tour up the west coast of Turkey - not the Scottish definition of breeze, just your every day Aussie ...
