... Zeit sogar 2 Mal, was wir echt genossen, da wir neben der Arbeit meist nicht viel freie Zeit haben.
Freitags ist dann leider auch schon mein letzter Tag bei YFC, aber wer weiß, vielleicht komm ich ja irgendwann zrück und schmeiß wieder ein paar Seesterne ins Wasser, es bereitet viel Freude!

Be Easy Zambezi

Time to head into Zambia, i caught a mini bus from Lilongwe to the border of Zambia. From there i caught a shared taxi to a close by town called Chipata. I found probably the cheapest hotel in town, and wandered around the town for a bit before the sun went down, and reloaded at the atm. Later while watching tv that night in the hotel i talked for a couple hours with a guy from jburg south africa who was doing business in zambia. ...

I arranged to meet up with them the next night to watch the World Cup final at Durban fan park though, and it was so surreal. As we sat shivering in the 'warmest place to be this World Cup', I kept just wanting to turn round and stare at them all but realised this would slightly weird and so kept watching the (fairly boring, to be honest) match, being glad when it went to extra time and annoyed when someone scored not long ...
This is when the cheese gets binding!
And now the casualties begin to appear. First on the plane home are the French, close behind their striker Anelka who left 2 days ago. Wise move Nicky to avoid the queues at the boarding gate. Next up is Bafana who after a valiant effort against the discredited French, became the first home nation to have failed to progress. No airport line ups for them since they can all drive home.
The atmosphere at the waterfront watching Bafana was immense. Fan ...
