... was not what I was expecting, to be truthful neither of us have done any research on Dubai so we had nothing planned.  What can I say it's a mall, big place with shops and restaurants, none of the tat shops in the Metro Centre and some very expensive shops but still just a big building with shops. We go out to the fountain which puts on a show every thirty minutes for 5 minutes and it was good, some bits didn't really match the music but it's ...

... Still think we could have stayed out here and just relaxed and enjoyed it all it had to offer, so we didn't get off as we will do this next time! Back to the Mall and then back to the hotel, via the old city... So interesting next time we will explore this area too. ... Poor people sent their kids to indian schools for 10,000. Out in the desert with upgraded trip... meant we could have beer and wine with trip... falcon show first run by South African man...impressive bird. The Falcons are only kept for 5 months in Dubai per year as too hot for bird to fly otherwise. Then the fun with all these trucks dune bashing our way to the camp. Steep and slippery runs ...conducive to car sickness but fun all the same, stop for sunset ...

... I wanted to meet the finish line time. We soon found Mark who had been dealing with a few mechanicals, and before long, were sitting having our breakfast at a classy little spot....eggs, bacon and cappuccinos a plenty.
