... dust, and it was still early morning (finally learning from our previous hop on hop off tours and getting started early!) so it wasn't too hot out. It was warm, but not unbearable. But the dust!! You could feel the dust on your skin, and could see it all over on my black shirt, in our hair... Everywhere. It outlined every hair on mikes legs, which was hilarious on our eyebrows. It was nuts. ... at the thoughtfulness which appears to be genuine respect and consideration for mature women. Well middle aged at least ;-) After the Burj, we took the Metro and tram to the Dubai Marina where we took our belated Dhow cruise which took us to from the Marina out to the Palm Island development. ... didn't exactly meet our expectations, followed by a huge open air beach club. We stayed until we were almost asleep (a bit past the partying stage these days), before heading back to the hotel and to bed. ... was visible. The cameras operated throughout the flight with 3 different views. 1 from the high tail, one from the flight deck and one from the undercarriage.

I have uploaded a video of the takeoff from Dubai and the Landing into London with this part of the blog.

The flight to London was 7.5 hours due to arrive at Heathrow at 12.15. My connection to Paris was due to leave at 1.45, so there was not much room for delay on arrival.
