Royal Orchid Resort Ko Phangan

We arrived here, having paid too much for our resort, thinking it possibly didn't exist and we were conned. So when we arrived at our luxury apartment with a view that you couldn't stop staring at we were euphoric.

I was so glad that, after 2 meals in a row that were too spicy for my taste buds, I got to eat a tasty, tasty tomato omelet with cheese on toast. I folded it up, made a sandwich and gobbled up the entire thing. To add to my enjoyment, Mario ordered us a pot of Thai tea, which is really orange in color, but delicious with milk and sugar. A very lazy day indeed. I heard the Aussies noisily making their way in around 7 am. I got up quietly, bought some juice and Aloe Vera gel at the local shop, and relaxed in the hammock, nursing my sunburn, until Mario rolled out of bed. We've decided that the island Koh Phangan has become too crowded and tourist-oriented. We rented a motorbike to tour outside the realm of the Royal Orchid Resort. The sky opens up and lets forth a deluge of water on the island this morning, raising the humidity level exponentially and putting a damper on everyone's plans.
