We did our first snorkel and saw endless schools of tropical fish, turtles, some sting ray and lobster. Probably one of the best snorkel swims we've ever done, no shortage of sea life. When we arrived we realised the city was pretty much a dump. Very run down, people hanging around everywhere.
Travellers don't really stay in the city itself though, its more of a central point to go everywhere else in Belize but you seriously need to have money as its where all the cruise ships stop - even the hotels were pricey!

The last dive was called the aquarium about 15 minutes from the shore. We then headed back to Caye Caulker, another 2 hours, but because we were going with the wind it was a much smoother ride than the way out. A couple of glasses of rum punch also helped.
