... the exchange took place. You have to deal with four people to buy the seafood. I'm happy to say that I went home with a 1.5lb red snapper for $3. And once we were done we stopped off for some local dessert :) the bun cake was good but I still miss a good ole fashioned brownie a la mode. However they do have some GREAT rum cake at this place called the Bird's Isle (which is the pic of me and friends by the sea).

... we picked the biggest ones from and watched him cook them fresh on the barbeque. We had our first taste of rice and beans alongside the lobster, in addition to fried plantain, a baked potato and Terry's special spicy sauce that he told us he'd spent 9 years perfecting (he said he had a lot of spare time in the army).

Next stop is sorting out a snorkelling / diving trip and continuing to absorb the chilled out island vibes!
