    ... split as to its value in the community; a lot of the locals appeared to be challenged by the devotees apparent wealth. I couldn't help feeling there was alot of anger toward the ashram. And with my memories still fresh in my mind and heart I felt it was time to move on. I was there for three nights and didn't sleep well on any of them. I looked at where I wanted to go and booked an internal flight South to Kerala for the next day.

    ... to a very weird and notorious ashram here. Having said that I'm enjoying the travelling and it is great to be in India. Challenging for sure but it's not been as shocking as I had expected.

    I have to say Pune is the first 'clean' looking Indian town I have seen so far. Indian towns and cities remind me of Havana at its worse: a relic of colonial days. Whereas Havana didn't have the money to renovate it's City I genuinely think India doesn't care or maybe ...

    All I knew of Jijoy PR was a picture in my flatmate's room, an email thread four messages long, and a brief phone call in Mumbai.

    But for the next five days, I was welcomed into his family's life like a relative. It was an incredibly humbling experience.
