      ... is a hill near Highclere, and during the Middle Ages when people had to be executed, rather than hanging them they were put in cages on the top of Com Gibbitt and left there for the animals to find.
      8) Many of the trees located on Highclere grounds were brought back from America and India by various Earls. The 3rd Earl also brought back loads of rhododendron, which has now taken over much of the estate grounds because it is so difficult to cut back.

      Saturday 6am London time (home 3pm on Saturay). Just arrived after 13 hour flight. Very tired but excited! Having coffee at Gordon Ramsey's Airport restaurant. London appears grey and overcast....surprise surprise!. Everything I expected. Also Michelle had a little running with customs and lost some of her face paint...won't go there just yet..a little sensitive! Can't wait to arrive at Milan. We'll leave at 7.45am for a 1.30minute flight ...

      We have been upgraded to premium economy I suppose that means we get to sit in a seat rather than in the hold! We're now sitting in the departure lounge having. Given up our comfy seats to some other poor soul who will have to watch the plane fly off into the distance! Next stop Singapore ...
