We went inside the front door of the casino and actually went further inside than Wendy got last time. However you had to pay to go the gambling room and have photo id so we decided not to go any further. We looked at some other shops and restaurants and headed back to the hotel. We eventually ...

Our journey into Nice and consisted of driving the French Riviera, which was extremely beautiful especially the views travelling through Monaco. However being at the back of the bus did not make this a pleasant journey. It was here in Nice that we stayed in the apartment we organised thru ...

Mission accomplished. The cafe next door offered beer for 9 euros a pop. For the experience, it was well worth it. We each slowly sipped our drinks for over an hour and watched the show. Mostly Ferrari's, but highlights included a ...

... with winding narrow paths filled with art and French Country shops. Then Philippe showed us where he used to live and work in Cannes. We ate a nice 3 course dinner outside on the terrace in Cannes along the coast. The food was outstanding. The weather was perfect. Looking forward to Monte Carlo tomorrow.
Hope all is well with you!!
Lots of love from Cannes ~
