Palouse did not disappoint us despite the weather

... thought this was June so it's probably OK. WRONG! Less than a mile down, our car was stuck in MUD! Thanks GOD for Bob's driving skill - he was able to get the car out of the mud and back out of that road!! Lesson learned! Our hotel owner later told us to never got on those roads after rain. Some cars get stuck there for days because nobody could tow them out and they had to wait for the farmers to use their tractors to pull the car out. OMG!!

... Here you are surrounded by tall fir trees, rivers and mountain streams. Half way through the drive we got to the state boarder, entering Montana, there we stopped to have a look at the marmots and make up silly sighs with the Idaho sign (IDAHO, UDAHO!) After analising the marmots for a while we decided they were actually ground squirrels so our quest to see a marmot goes on!

Rappeling with the idaho militia
