      ... the rest upstairs - with the best views. As we waited we were right beside the Chicago river with lots of tourist boats going up and down. Away about 30mins late. Lots of swamps and lakes along the way, and the train blows its horn at every crossing - and there were lots. Some of the journey was along side the Mississippi river, which we could only see as reflections of light ...

      ... could be there. I wanted her to see the presentation and this was the last chance. The presentation went fine - until the end that is. All of a sudden - as I was giving the last remarks - this wave of emotion swept over me. It was just as I was about to thank the team and host clubs.

      ... del Kino, we didn’t know where we would end up that day or how much paperwork we would have to fill out. We had become pros at crossing Central American borders because we crossed all of them twice. Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua make it easy because they are in the CA-4 or the Central American 4. This means that there is little to no hassle to cross their borders.       Today we hit the open highway for Custer, South Dakota...Mt. Rushmore, here we come! Yesterday afternoon Giebel picked us up and took us on driving tour of Minneapolis...saw all the highlights...beautiful homes by the lake (or should I say lakes?!?), Univ. of Minnesota campus, downtown area (added was Gay Pride Parade weekend). It is a very beautiful city. Last night we went back to the Giebels for a pizza dinner...the boys love their house and ...
