If you are rich, you can buy seats in shaded stands, but if you´re not, like us, you can rarely seem much. Alas, the buses started to leave for town around 9:45. I made it home around 11:15 or so. A cold show has never felt so good down here! I wanted to stay out longer, but presentations are Sunday morning, and I needed my sleep. And plus, all my dance partners left, so what good is staying if I won’t be dancing ;)

When we woke up next day, we were thinking of leaving as the carnaval wasn't as good as we expected, but the hotel said we had to honour our 2 day stay and wouldn't refund us. So we had breakfast, heading to the centre and I bought a carnival top, and decided to pace ourselves today, so we could enjoy ourselves.
