    ... not exactly as planned, with this being the top Honeymoon destination we thought that we would be relaxing on the beautiful beaches and catching up on some lazing around. As it turns out the weather was not being kind and it rained non-stop for most of our stay, so we never did make it to the beach.

    ... On the way between the falls though you walk on a boardwalk that follows an irrigation canal from the early 1900s. This canal, as the placard says, was constructed with a lot of effort to allow irrigation and transformation of the downstream plain into rice paddies. Now, of course, it's been converted once again into a resort complex with hotels, museums and casinos, and the canal's been reduced to a water feature. Gotta love ...

    ... to the hotel for a pre-dinner nap (yes, another one!)
