We made it! I can officially say I survived my first tropical storm/typhoon on Jeju Island this week. We had our fist 5 days off already so we were so excited to explore another part of Korea. ... ago was the aforementioned Gwandoekjeong, the rest of the grounds had been recently reconstructed from historical descriptions and images of the buildings. Although the buildings weren't authentically old, I enjoyed my visit. They gave you a good idea of how things looked during the heyday of the Joseon dynasty, and it was a pleasant place for a stroll.

After lunch at a nearby underground mall, I flagged a taxi to take me to the ferry terminal. ...

... trees, garden, and ocean. Unfortunately it was night so I didnt see the ocean till the morning. The room also had a kitchenette but no crockery or cutlery.

The bathroom didnt have any slippers and there was water damage outside the door on the hardwood floor. When I had a shower the drain was closed and I couldnt open it. As the tub was starting to flood I had to stand in the bathroom floor and use the floor drain ...
