... one way traffic is that, during the autumn leaves viewing season, cars stop on the way up all the time to take pictures effectively tying up traffic in both directions unless one way traffic is imposed. Fortunately for me, it was early in the season and there weren't many cars going up. I made it down the mountain and back to the hotel with no problems.

So, It was another wonderful day on the bike in Japan! Hopefully, the next and final week will be more of the ...

    Hopefully, the wind will ...

... WE LOVED: - getting off the bus and being told that although scientists have warned of seismic activity we shouldn't be too worried (but 2/3 cable cars were out-of-use, along with various paths and areas including the Okama crater lake) - the buffet in our restaurant serving almost everything from steak to sashimi: so ...

... Fukushima. Kameda Sensei's and Ara Sensei are the English and Music teachers at Jess's high school. They treated us to a magnificent spread. It was a degustation taste of about 11 dishes. They were all very tasty. They finished off with a sweet consisting of a pile of pancakes with cream cheese and Ice Cream and a chocolate sign saying Happy 40th Anniversary. It was a fabulous ...
