A lovely summer day today so we decided to make the most of it. We drove to Bibury via Cirencester and parked near the church. This church has been in use for over a thousand years, the grounds are beautifully kept with lovely roses lining the path. Inside it is very simple but an unusual design, the altar cloth is very impressive. From here we walked back to the town, the river is the border between Bibury and Arlington. We went ...

Today we went into Bath and although we had been here several times before it was still a pleasure to look around. And also lots of dwellings and villages. I think the definition of national park over here is slightly different from ours. Then I discovered Hay-on-Wye, the self-proclaimed "town of books" with lots and lots of interesting bookshops. A perfect way to spend the rest of the ...

... Baths. They were amazing. It's hard to believe that structures from the Romans are still present today. We even got to drink some of the water at the end. I wouldn't recommend it though. Tasted like a warm metal drink. Not very pleasant. We then took in the sites of the Avon River, was very impressive with the old buildings over it. To end the evening we went on a Comedy walk around ...
