    ... seems like an exhausting journey and our shirts were soaking with sweat when we got back to the apartment today. The good thing is that we’ll be leaving in a little over 2 weeks, so I know we’ll make it!

    ... go at the knock-off mall. Anything we buy will have to be small because we’re each leaving here with only 1 suitcase and a back pack! Carolyn, one of the teachers who started with us, wants to make the trip with us so she’ll know how to do it on her own. It’s a little sad for her because of the 8 of us who started new this year, only 3 are coming back. Such is life at an international school.

    ... s visit. We just finished the MAP testing this week which is the standardized testing for Reading, Language Arts and Math. Like home, I was feeling the pressure along with the kids and was greatly relieved with the good results. Never having taught math in my life, it’s been the biggest challenge for me this year, so I can now add that to my resume!
