... can take days to dry. What to do? Well, almost magically in the stores, little dehumidifiers have appeared on the shelves. Made of plastic and divided into 2 layers, the top layer is covered with a light mesh and then a thick layer of little white beads and bits of charcoal. Apparently, the charcoal pulls in the moisture which condenses in the bottom of the container, and after a few weeks, it’s full of water – , simple ...

We're in a perfect area, right near a massive food market with awesome street food and fruit, and also a Tesco's, bizarrely. We have a balcony that looks out over some trees and a square where people play basketball, and the building even has a roof garden! Now we've unpacked the apartment looks a lot more homely and we've become the ...

The middle of March and the start of March Break for NS and PEI! Unfortunately, we hear there's another big storm going to hammer the Maritimes…L We had a couple of hot humid days a couple of weeks ago and thought that spring was here so we put away the heaters and washed our heavy clothing. Turns out that we jumped the gun; happily for me because I want the cooler weather as long as possible!

Chinese New Year is finally over. The last day ...
