Bangkok
We meet our Group
Today we allowed ourselves the luxury of a slightly late start and an extended buffet breakfast as it was our last morning at the Shangri La. At one time probably a greatr hotel, but clearly past it's peak. That said the room was clean, reasonable size and with all services (incl TV & A/C) working. The buiffet breakfast (200 baht) was good value and would cover most palates. Hotel is ideally placed for the Grand Palace, access to the river and old backpackers haunts - which are being given a new lease of life.
