Good Time to be had
We went because of the free room and was pleasantly pleased. Staff was great. Pool view was better than the gulf view because all we seen w/ the gulf view was the roof and the gulf in the far distance.
Casino was great. The buffet at Lafeyette's was the greatest.
Would recommend this hotel.

The worst hotel ever
The Treasure Bay Hotel was the worst hotel I had ever stayed at! We were supposed to have early check-in after driving 16 hours from Illinois, straight through. When we got into town we stopped for breakfast and then called to make sure our room was ready. They said it was, so we went to check in. The room wasn't ready so we had to wait another two hours to check in. Then they didn't help us with our luggage or show us where our room was. We made our reservations 3 months in advance and requested a first floor non smoking poolside king room. We got a third floor non smoking barely poolside king room. When we went to complain, they said that just because you request a certain type of room, that doesn't mean you will get it, it just means you will get A room. They said they would see what they could do to get us into a better room the next day. We left to go eat and hang out at the casino. Came home at 2:30 am to find our bathroom, foyer, and part of the bedroom FLOODED!! They sent maintenance up and offered to put us in an 8th floor SMOKING room (after reqesting non smoking due to my asthma). We said no we would wait until morning. Not only did we get the wrong room but it was also located 20 feet away from an air conditioning unit that supports the whole tower. It sounds like a jet engine turning on and off all day and night. My fiancee didn't get any sleep all night so in the morning when we went to go see if a new room was ready and it wasn't, he was very agitated. He talked to the hoter manager on duty and she wasn't apologetic at all and said there was nothing she could do. As soon as a couple from a different ethnic background came to the desk, she was sweet as molasses. We went to breakfast and found out from a fellow patron that we should go to guest services at the casino. We told them the problem and they comped one night of our stay and comped two dinner buffets. After all of the trouble, that felt like a slap in the face. Guest services also told us that we were lied to when they told us that you don't get what you request. Finally when we got back from breakfast and a little bit of gamblling, our new room was ready. They gave us the new room key and didn't offer to help us move our bags or even show us where the new room was! I went and checked the tub after we unpacked to see if this one was going to leak too, and sure enough there was water underneath this tub also. After talking to alot of people, we were comped one more night. We filled out paperwork and the casino manager told us he would be in contact. The next night when we came home, our keycards didn't work in the front door. We had to walk all the way around and it worked in the back door. I called the front desk and all she told me was that the system was down and they were reprogramming it. The next day it happened again! Our neighbors told us that they had to go get new keycards. So we did. We complained again, because the front desk clerk could have at least had the decency to tell me that when I called her!
The casino manager never contacted us back, nor has anyone else. This was the worst hotel I have ever ever stayed at. I was not satisfied and still am not.
We were very unhappy
MY wife and I wanted a Valentine Getaway, we wanted to go to a nice place for a treat. We booked and was told we would get a King Non Smoking in the hotel, the lady who booked it told how nice it was
and we was looking forward for a holiday. when we got to the hotel they
put us in a outside room at the side and back. We were afraid to go
outside, not lighted in the back. We even had a drunk lady try to get
in the room, the lock had been opened more then once with a bar. We
talked to the lady at the front desk and she stated all of the hotel
rooms were rented late showups and that the best they could do. They
were rude and all we wanted was what we payed .
We travel to treasure quite often. Have stayed at other casinos but like the people at treasure bay.We find them to be very good at their various jobs. We are both video poker players and would really like to see a few more in the .50 & 1.00 machines. Redoing the rooms was very nice they are 1st class . Looking forward to our next trip very soon.
We stayed on Jan 31,2004. The room was clean,didn't get a king room as requested, but we had a double. The staff ( Anthony) was friendly when we checked in and as we left. Upon leaving the staff asked if everything was ok. Overall everything was good not great,but it's not a great hotel if you know that going in then it's no problem. Probably should be rated as a 2-3 star hotel.Casino buffet was good also. Upon checking out another couple was checking early due to a problem there the staff waiting on them told them she was sorry and gave them a discount to lower the rate for the night that they had stayed.

The only positive was the honored request for a non-smoking room. The hotel staff was not inviting at all. When we checked in, the clerk was stand-offish and seemed to know nothing about Biloxi. Once we got to the room, it got worse. Since the town was booked, we had no choice but to stay. Rooms were ample size, but that is it. No secuity lock on our door, room 244, which wasn't marked. The balcony secuity lock was broken. In the morning, housekeeping staff was EXTREMELY loud and used a lot of profanity. When trying to pass a maid on the walkway, she stood in the way with her cart blocking the rest of the walk. I waited patiently for about 30 seconds, only to get her to look at me with attitude and reply, "what?" I did not complain to the staff, because at checkout (not busy), they did not ask how our stay went. Obviously, they didn't care.
Great casino, great hotel, wonderfull stay
I have been to the Treasure Bay probably about 6 times. I have no complaints. They also give us a room facing the gulf and rooms are always clean. One time they didn't have towells or an iron in the room but had them sent up within 3 minutes. The casino has some of the best games on the coast. Great blackjack rules and loose slots. I have always been treated with respect in the casino and the comps come in the mail every month! Treasure Bay will always get my business while in Biloxi!
Took my points of over one hundred dollars
spent thousands of dollars at this casino. I kept my points in and did not cash them out because I knew that money would be there if I ever needed it. Well, I had not played there in a year they said so they took my points of well over a hundred dollars. I found this out one day when I took my Mom down there. They refused to reinstate my points or give me my money, That I had earned....And said there was nothing they could do. I was given a number to call and spoke with Susan. She said she was the assistant general manager and it was policy and the policies were sent to gaming so she could not give back my points (or money) She said there was no one else I could talk to because she was over every thing. She also said she hopes they get my business back.....I never got a letter saying my points were about to be purged if I did not come play. If I had gotten a letter they know I would have been back.. The other casino's send out letters..also I worked in a casino for almost 8 years and I do know that you could have given back my money....I guess I was not a high roller to them as I know for a fact a lot of payouts are made for "High Rollers" But I did not rate high enough, So I had my money taken with no regrets what so ever.....As for my business I will never put another penny into Treasure Bays pocket...Hope you enjoy my money as I guess you need it..And I will tell everyone I know and meet>>>>>Do not play at Treasure Bay..Thank You Susan and all management, Donna Hebert (also I see all your reviews seem to be negative)
Unhappy with our stay,My family and I stayed at your hotel 4-21-03 for one night, we had reservations for 2 nights but after the first night it was time to move on. We moved to the Beau Rivage for the second night and was treated with respect and class. First, the room was not ready when we arrived, so we waited 1 1/2 hours no problem then we were given the wrong room twice. Once finally getting into the right room we noticed that the carpet was soaking wet all around the bathroom and 1st bed. But it was so hard to get into the room, moving from room to room we said no problem we will just make do. My wife and I went into the casino, we were greeted by a very professional lady that treated us very kindly, her name was Alisha she issued us playing cards and said if you need anything please come see me. We both played slots for about 1 hour then began playing roulette for approvimately 5 hours - losing $653.00 for the evening. Well you win some times you lose some times, but we had fun. The next morning I went into the casino to see if I could get a comp for breakfast for my wife, 2 sons and myself - the gentlemen at the roulette table the night before had said when we wanted to eat come back and get a comp after playing for so long. The lady at the desk said we had only lost $39.00 the night before so we didn't have any comps available, I said can I speak to Alisha, she's not working, so I said is there any way you can have someone look at the camera's from last night, I lost over $600.00. she said sir I'm too busy to get someone to do that you only lost $39.00. I said ok, went back to the room called the Beau Rivage made reservation, and checked out of our wet room. At the Beau Rivage we were treated like Kings, I lost another $400.00 but amazingly didn't have to pay for either of the 2 meals we ate. I'm very disappointed with your hotel and casino and will tell everyone we know about our bad experience.Thank You for your Time,Joseph Crappell
Casino great, Hotel people very rude
Love playing at Treasure Bay Casino. Hotel rooms very nice. Their front desk people need a few lessons in manners and respect to customers. Also need to know what promotions they have going on and when. They didn't even know they had an online promotion had to get the manager to settle this dispute, she was very nice and made things right. Will play there but will probably not stay at their hotel.
