The Crazy Capitol
Jun 16, 2008 (11 photos)

I: Phnom Penh is something different. Just like most of Cambodia. The normal everyday city tour consists of Killing fields, torture prisons, and shooting ranges. And let's not forget about the garbage mountain! No other capitol could be like this. We started our day at the shooting range, where Palo ordered a AK-47 for breakfast (which he polite...

Dec 3, 2005 (8 photos)

Decided to head out on foot today to get a better view of the city. It's a relatively small city so easily walked on foot, if you don't mind walking 15km+ a day. We hadn't done much walking for a long time, pretty much since China, so I was out of practice. Started off by heading to the river to see what at was like by day. Nice and the flags ar...

Shooting range
Dec 4, 2005 (5 photos)

After the late one last night I didn't really fancy getting up early but things to see so we were ready for our minibus at 9. We were headed first to a shooting range. I can't say I was particularly excited about visiting a shooting range but Dave seemed really up for it. I was thinking more about my wallet and only went for the AK-47, still ver...
