We saw Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields and Eleanor Rigby's grave, among many other sites that set the background for so many of the songs they wrote. After the tour we walked around the restored and vibrant Liverpool docks, home of the famous Cunard cruise line.     ... have gone on Friday though, since it was very full and difficult to move around. We went back to one of the shopping districts to look around, then headed out to a more residential area to meet Ali, Melissa's friend that I met in Prague. We were supposed to go to a food festival with her, but upon arrival found it was the equivalent of an elementary school fundraiser so we decided to head somewhere else.

    ... cinema/cafe/bar on the corner, that we'd seen advertised on the billboard outside. The more detailed publicity handout said to come early so as not to miss out on the sign-up for a song, so obviously we wanted to avoid that.     ... with all these old school ornaments etc. So we ended up drinking pint after pint of Guinness which in this place was amaaaaazing.
    Best pub I have ever been to, hands down.

    ... of food in rolled newspaper twice a day, leaving it in accessible places for the foxes to find it. It's rolled in newspaper so they can carry it in their mouths (takeaways!) back to their dens! She also sponsors a crate at the Battersea Cats home, which pays for the care of any cat which has to stay for any period of time in the crate while they are trying to find a home for it.
