When Adam's alarm went off, I really did not want to get up. It had been a while since we had had a 7 o’clock start. On the way to the truck, I bought some empanada type savouries for breakfast.

The sun broke through the low clouds very quickly and soon it was beating down. Once we were beyond Vang Vieng, the mountains retreated to a distance. This morning, people ...

      The Loop, Day 2

This morning we stopped at a 'shop' to oil the motorcycle chains. After some mimicking to explain what we wanted the mechanic cleaned and oiled the chains. ...

... though and arrived at Konglo village in the evening for a romantic valentines card game and dinner.
It is a tiny undeveloped village with barely any tourists which was pretty nice, but meant there was not actually much to do. We visited the caves in the morning, a 1km walk away. After paying 5quid each Anna freaked out big time and wouldn't come in. I, not wanting to waste money, had to go it alone!! Well, with 2 Laos guys driving and steering the long tail ...
