    ... highlighed by a mesmerizing visit their world class Aquarium. It is called Le Musee de Oceanagraphique, built in 1910 by Prince Albert and also run by the famous Jacque Cousteau.     ... riding consisted of a climbing breakaway (I'd hang on to David's wheel, then strive to keep him in visual contact), a second pod of about 5 riders, then those going at their own pace. Regrouping was done at the peaks, or, if there was a simple road choice, David & I would confer and head off to the next main town, which often worked out, but on occasion added extra climb or distance to our day.     So this is what the Verdon Canyon is meant to be like if its not totally white out fog and pouring rain. Which it was all day. All 8 hours of sitting on a bus. Seriously tour company, if you know that a place is not accessible that day. Don't go. Stuff your itinerary!

    Day 4 started with a drive towards Genova along the spectacular highway with stunning views over the rocky coastline. We didn't actually go into Genova but were able to see the huge harbour from the highway.

    ... in particular was not happy to find out he had to go to Budapest first. His tour was going to Transylvania ...which is closer to Szeged than Budapest! He was complaining loudly and fruitlessly at I tried to help him but nothing was going to change! Thats Hungarian 'efficiency' for you. He should have read the travel guide. Was pretty funny actually he was very angry at his Hungarian speaking wife ...
