This morning we docked outside of San Remo, Italy. Fifty kilometers east of Monte Carlo lies San Remo, Italy, a sun-dappled Mediterranean resort with a casino, spectacular villas, and Riviera-style grandeur. Beyond the manicured lawns and bell hotels, San Remo hides a little visited old town, a labyrinth of twisting lanes that cascade down ...

We did not go into this museum but kept walking past to the large Florence city square where the white marble copy of the David statue, together with many other statues, were on display. Kids are happiest at the beach. Immediately they settle into swimming and sand castles and just freedom. It's nice to watch and makes you realise they don't need much. Space to play and an ice cream every now and ...

... the name on our ticket was different than it was on the screen. We were thankful for the long layover as it gave us a good hour to figure it out. We're definitely never afraid to ask questions! We arrived at 5:07 from the second train, and our third one was supposed to leave at that time as well! We literally ran through the train station trying to find the right gate. Luckily, it was delayed by 15 minutes, so we had time to buy a bottle of water and catch ...
