... br> The old theatre in town is prepping for the Savannah Music Festival next week. The Food and Wine Festival just finished. There is always something to participate in year round. The evening is beautiful, perfect for strolling. We kept to residential neighbourhoods rarely meeting anyone. Men walking their pups before sleep.

Many of the homes around the squares are lit up at night until later. The gas lanterns flicker. Must be the ghosts.

Oh, have I mentioned the heat yet? Yes, we have been visiting a regularly hot city during a sort of heat wave that even the locals can't stand. We melted during the open-air trolly tour and when it was done we got an early lunch so we could sit somewhere with air conditioning! We ate lunch at the City Market Cafe which was decorated with Marilyn Monroe and Elvis artwork. I had the best chicken pot-pie I have ever eaten! It had a ...

We have been camping on Hilton Head Island since Saturday. On 4th of July evening the campground had a band playing in the parking lot and then we watched the fireworks. The band was pretty good if you are into bluegrass music. We played golf on Tuesday and we are playing again tomorrow. There are plenty of golf courses on the island and they are all beautiful and most of ...
