This hotel has everything a traveller could want - a pool, wifi and even poolside massage. It was comfortable and reasonably priced. The service was friendly.

That sums it up. They just weren't really communicative. I wouldn't recommend it.

We arrived in Siem Reap in Cambodia after a 60 minute flight east from Bangkok.

Siem Reap has a population of about 8 500 and no building can be higher than the highest temple in Angkor. Even though it's a tourist hub at this time of the year it had the relaxed small town atmosphere. It was not exactly clean but it didn't smell bad!

Yeah I know the title is lame but I'm tired :-) After a 5am alarm Friday morning, a flight to Saigon and connection to Siem reap we finally arrived at the Royal crown hotel at midnight.
I should point out that after ******* around with VOA at the Siem reap airport and finally making it to the customs desk, the officer said he would check Sandra …

They were crickets and the legs were a little weird as they kind of crept up under your tongue, but they really weren't bad at all! I like them a ton better than peanuts or almonds. The hard part is not focusing on what you are putting into your mouth, and just enjoying the flavors that follow!

    ... for an early night.

When our alarms sounded the following morning at 4am, Dino immediately thought “This is crazy! We must have seen at least ten sunrises by now, why must we always insist on seeing another?” After a bit more moaning Dino made his way down the stairs to where Shona was already waiting at the bicycles.

After a bit of a commotion with the security guard who was unable at first to unlock the bikes, we finally set off in the pitch ...
