To really experience a country put yourself outside your comfort zone, head off the beaten track, utilise local transport in vans built for 10 and share with 15 or 20 locals and eat the local food. ... else one might fancy - at least a simple smile and no thanks and Not stopping seem to fend these folks off without too much energy. Here, everything is in slo motion. Love this speed. Even the traffic is slow, especially when compared to Anywhere Asia. Food is great, local supermarkets offer the cheapest beer, water and mix. You get approached many times a day/night while walking on the streets. Everybody has a deal for you! No different here than anywhere else...LOVE IT!!!
