Haven't done a great deal since last time. Our days consist of waking up, having an all you can eat breakfast, feeling crook from eating too much, then lazing around the pool while the boys go up and down the slides. You try and hold off from drinking for as long as you can, but the staff keep asking if you want something from the bar. And they are so damn friendly and nice it's near impossible to say No. There is no responsible drinking laws here! We ...

... to look, so you go in and have a look at more wood carvings to keep them happy. You then say sorry, not really interested and they usually reply 'that's cool mon'. As long as you have a look in their shop, that's enough to keep them happy. A bloke came up to D'Lene and had a $5 Australian note he wanted to change to US$. Poor bloke has probably been waiting ages for some Aussies to pass through the markets.

... eat half of it. The next day was an early one. We got up at 3:30 and caught a taxi to the airport. It was all self-service which was supposed to be quicker for booking in but it took us twice as long. We flew to Miami and the flight was running late. We only had an hour between flights so as soon as the plane landed we rushed to the departing gate. On the way we heard our names being paged over the intercom system, saying final call for the Browning ...

... The lady next to my tried to give me advice on all the beautiful resorts she has been to, but that was not the type of vacation I had in mind. Soon the couple behind me got involved as well, asking if I was sure that I want to travel all by myself. Was I?

A little hold up at the border, because I didn't use the right colored pen for my immigration form, but more importantly I didn't book a hotel and I was stupid ...

... different peeps - there was a lot of your usual drunken conversations around the bar/pool/beach/buffet table/etc...but there was some great networking, and I got to introduce myself to a lot of the Eastern Canada peeps who I've never met...so, it was a great trip!!

I can't count on going next year (the rules might be changing), but maybe I'll get back to Jamaica one day again to enjoy that heat and those patties!! Haha.
