    I have a 50 minute wait for my next train. At this point I really feel the cold as it is 0 degrees Centigrade. Not 12 hours ago I was sat on a beach in Florida and it was a pleasant 22 Degrees. I decide to get a coffee inside, but for some reason the door is left wide open, so it is chilly, but better than waiting ...

    ... br> Our gate where we were to catch our plane from was at the furthest point of the terminal. We walked for ages. We did end up with the most decorated plane in the terminal though.

    Flight was fine. We got some sleep. I arrived not feeling too well so laid down on the floor in Abu Dhabi airport with Isabel, whilst waiting for our next flight.

    Luckily this time in Abu Dhabi we only had a 3hr stop over.

    Our next flight to Sydney ...

    Dinner with Rob and Bett It was lovely to catchup with them at the sailing club. Their friend has started a pop up restaurant once a month. We went down to the black lion afterwards for a drink. I only just managed to catch the last tube home - the party animals! Rob is such a great story teller tho, who knew that postman pat could have so much drama around him.     ... Great River Race, the banks of the Thames in Richmond were full of spectators. It is the marquee event of the Mayor's Thames Festival in early September. The race began around noon at Millwall on the Isle of Dogs (where I lived) and passed 20-odd bridges including the famous Tower and London Bridges until it finished just past Richmond nearly four hours later.
