Orlando Theme Park Tips for Families!

... If you are serious about getting as much in as possible I would suggest finding an alternative mode of transport. If you intend going on as much rides as possible then a quick pass is a must. Being January we did not need a quick pass. This park is more suited to teenagers and adults. Whilst there are lots of animal exhibits, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is in our opinion far better.

... fight to protect/steal the all spark. Most epic ride ever!

In the next "ride" we got to feel what a Twister would feel like. They had set up a stage with moving props, fire, rain and even the twister cow flyin past to give us an idea of what would happen should we experience a tornado.

Revenge of the mummy ride was next. It was a pitch black indoor roller coaster that had everythin from sudden stops to fast turns, and scary monsters ...

... firework show at the end of the night was definitely a highlight. The Disney parade and having lunch with Pinochio also great! The 1+ hour lines... Not so great!! There was also a lighting storm come through so rides closed down for about an hour. We didn't get home till 12 so another long day. Straight to bed for tomorrow. Overall loved going back to Disneyland, I don't think I'll ever grow ...

... and nothing fried. Marie had chicken noodle soup grilled chicken with baked potato and steamed vegetables and a mudslide cocktail. $63 all up including tip. Unfortunately the restaurant serves breakfast from 8am so we will have to just have coffee and maybe get something at the space centre.

We then walked back to our rooms and put the washing on and wrote this blog. Better go to bed soon - up early tomorrow.
