Hangin out at George F.L. Charles airport on our way from St. Lucia to St. Vincent. It's HUGE. One whopping gate, and we think the pilot might also be the flight attendant and work at the airport coffee shop. Just found out that we have at least a one hour delay. Go LIAT air..woohoo.

Bequia is just a short flight and quick ferry away. We can smell it now...

Update... we did not make it to Bequia today. Our 11am Liat flight was ...
Saint Lucia, Saint Lucia 4thegoodtimes... floor overlooking the pool and ocean. Rodney Bay area was a bit too tourista for us. It was reminiscent of spring break. To be fair, we did not have an opportunity to explore outside the immediate area. We had our first chicken Roti at Lime- average. Spent the morning on Reduit Beach in St. Lucia. Very nice and relaxing.

Saint Lucia, Saint Lucia 4thegoodtimes... us wide awake. Word to the wise, all bags (from the Atl) must be checked within 1 hour before international flights. We squeaked by with exactly one minute to spare (maybe less).

Enjoying the free Delta Wi-Fi right now as we cruise through the Bermuda Triangle. Saint Lucia, Saint Lucia 4thegoodtimes... of the island, we bypassed the queues for immigration and security, and were fast tracked out of the airport. I did feel a little sorry for everyone else waiting in line, but also a little bit pleased with myself at the same time.
Jumping in the mini van, reggae music on high, the first stop was at a bar for a Piton beer or Rum and Coke at a view point. It was raining but it didn’t put a dampener ...

I was already imagining the stunning beaches I would see, gorgeous hotels I would be visiting, the yummy food I might be eating and planning what to pack even before the trip was confirmed. Now just how many pairs of shoes could I fit into in my suitcase…?

Of course I haven’t forgotten that fun and rum cocktails in the sun is not the sole ...

Castries, Saint Lucia paulatluxury... this show should not be missed at all. It was 100% fantastic, marvelous show! They did a great job! After the show we went again to the ship's photographer for some family picture. However Makayla is not cooperating and doesnt look at the camera, its kinda frustrating, anyway he took some shots still. Maybe once Makayla reach 3 years old, probably we can do it better. Its another funfilled day!
Castries, Saint Lucia ri-anne.cruz... the coast line into Marigot Bay. The landscape was totally superb with its deep blue coloured water breaking its waves on the huge cliffs along the way. In the background, the famous Pitons were providing a phenominal exotic landscape. These two huge mountains sticking out of the sea like some mysterious sea creatures were totally breathtaking. Knowing that they are the most recognizable landmarks in the Caribbean and that I was ...
Saint Lucia, Saint Lucia momentsintime... been temperamental with stinking hot one minute and pouring rain the next but Christmas Day was sunny and hot all day so by 2 o'clock we were ready to celebrate our 5 course Christmas Dinner. It was nice to have Matt and John with us and made it feel a more festive. Following dinner we rolled off Bella and went to join friends on Seamist for drinks and more food...... The boys got a silent chaos to drag behind the dinghy for Christmas and have been zooming around the ...
Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia bellavita... That evening, I had the crab legs for an appetizer and the glazed pork loin for dinner and for dessert, a chocolate melting cake. Afterwards, we burned off the calories by dancing under the stars on the lido deck by the pool where we formed the largest conga line I have ever seen. It had to be about two thousand of us singing Hot, Hot, Hot ! 'til two in the morning.. That is it for now but I have added some new pictures for you to see how our trip is going.
