... it wasn't what we expected but it was a sight to see. Rather than floating boats selling it was rather a boardwalk around water. We did get some amazing food so that worked out nice. We used our buddy Woody again for our taxi today , he was just too funny and cut Us such a deal for basically the whole day! Tomorrow we head out for Krabi! ... Decided to return and bought some beer at 28b a can. Just got back in time as a rain squall came out of nowhere and we nearly got drenched. Correction Mary got soaked robin ran faster! Plans for a beach walk now delayed due to the weather. Beach walk resumed at 5pm and ended in light rain at seafood restaurant next door for a cocktail and dinner - fried rice, stir fry asparagus and prawn and chicken and cashews. Yum! ...

... our fill of monkeys, we walked back down to the scooters. Everyone else rode the scooters down the steep hills, but I chose to walk back to town, not quite trusting the brakes (or the young, impetuous drivers) to stop us from careening into all the people and traffic at the bottom. Climbing onboard once more, we then rode to a beach new to us, to swim in the beautiful warm waters of the Gulf of Thailand, and wash off the dust from Monkey Mountain.
