... were names of women who must have won the title in different years. It was a little bizarre.... We had to take two trains to get to Hua Hin. The first train was 10 hours to Bangkok. It had air conditioning which was good but it wasn't exactly what we were expecting as far as "niceness". It was old looking, kinda vintage I guess. We thought there would be a dining car from reviews we had read about train travel but were told just before boarding by a man ...

... condominiums for sale. But as we are splashing along the shore, we see the biggest ghost crab we have seen so far, which to be honest still isn't very big. I pick it up for a closer look and this is when I realise that this is no ordinary ghost crab, but superghostcrab! ... rooftop bars) have magnificent 'city scape' views which are impressive to say the least. Also played night golf on a famous course (designed by Nick Faldo) - never played in that kind of heat and played a terrible round but enjoyed the novelty none the less!

Have now just arrived in Hua Hin, a beach resort 5 hrs on the train south if Bangkok... Looking forward to seeing the beech tomorrow and taking my first swim in the sea!

... coffee. We had passed a few nice street vendors and so this evening went back to one of them for some really spicy Thai green soup and stir fried chicken red curry with sticky rice. By the end, my eyes were burning, Katherines mouth was on fire and the 2 chang's had been drunk way to quickly. After some local ice cream, that was a day for us!
