Nuthin like a change in plans

Up and pack up the RV, sort out everything that seemed to make its way from one end to the other.

Back to Atlanta and return the RV. Taxi to airport and collect the car for the next week.

We have decided that we will make the journey across to South Carolina and visit our new friends. They really wanted us to come and meet their wives and families.

What was supposed to be a 2 hour drive from Atlanta turned out to be 4 hours for us. We ...

From the time I was little, he has called me on my birthday and played the Happy Birthday song to me on the piano; since I was there in person I got a special rendition on the clock chimes (and, no, I have no idea how he did it).

Sam has not seen me since I was 3 years old or so because he went blind in his twenties. I hope that in his mind's eye he still can see the wonder and love I feel for him.

... base of the falls. If I ever backpacked the Foothills Trail, I would try to camp here as it was a lovely spot where you could hear the waterfall and kind of see it through the trees from a tent.
