We arrived in Belo Horizonte, state of Minas Gerais from Rio after a LONG 9 hour bus journey, however the reclining leather seats made it a bit easier to endure !
When we arrived here we went to a local restaurant and sampled the local drink- "Capriana" and a meat plate recommended by a very friendly waitor- both turned out to be delicious!!
I organized with Naara to come and watch one of my classes today at BK21 so I got her to meet me there at the office. When she got there, we had a chat to the guys in the office and the told us that they didn't want classes anymore. Well I guess that's it. no more BK21 for me.

First day of work today!
I arrived, and Marcio was a little late so I waited around until he arrived. It's fine though, he's Brazilian, and I've started to adapt to their occasional tardiness. We talked over my contract for an hour and chatted a bit in Portuguese before my student finally rocked up. He was about 15 minutes late too. But again, he's Brazilian so it is now becoming a bit of an expectation for me. I still worked with him for about an hour.
