    ... activity, then a drink and snack in an African restaurant in the Patershol district. It's a fascinating town, Gent, with its share of lovely squares, churches and other buildings. They have banned cars from the centre of town, and have trams getting people around. It's more business like than Brugge, and probably not as picture postcard looking as the latter.
