... Mexican food (another craving dealt with) we hit the strip of bars and clubs and checked out what was what. There are live bands everywhere here, mainly playing Bob Marley and Chili Peppers covers, along with plenty of modern indie and pop stuff to keep most people interested. After regretting popping into one of the terrible, big clubs pumping out generic house and not enjoying their cocktails very much, we decided Espresso bar was the one for us. They have a rolling cast of ...

It has been an incredibly busy 19 days! November seems to be flying past, it feels like no time until I will be flying to Australia.

My principal focus in the last couple of weeks for work has been the Now! Jakarta Cakes for Charity Campaign. Cakes for Charity was a spread in last year's December issue and I was keen to take on the responsibility to project manage and arrange a similar spread and campaign for the 2014 December issue. He was excellent and very interesting. He has worked in the US Embassy and has met many of our presidents and Secretaries of State. He has even been on assignment in Atlanta. It took us ...

Today we loaded our cars, two Toyota Land Cruisers VX 1996, into a 40-foot container in the port Tanjung Periok, Jakarta. Our cars will be sailing for the next two days and will arrive to Klang Port, Malaysia on the 12th of May, 2014.

Final check up before the legal customs examination. The boxes in the car are full of spare parts, repair equipment, tools, cloth, and some Indonesian snacks ...

We left their neighborhood at one point and when we returned there was a sign that said ...
