    ... meant I didn’t need to worry about getting in to Budapest in time to find an evening mass. And it was sort of good that I wasn’t particularly trying for any bus because it turns out, the train station is kind of far away. It would have definitely been better to take the tram. Except that I didn’t have a schedule or a route map and they were only running about every half hour, and you are supposed to buy tickets from kiosks outside of the trams ...

    We finally got to the hostel and he dropped me off. Hostel Costel is pretty awesome thus far. It's a little far from the city center - about a twenty minute walk, but you can take the tram if you're lazy (I didn't). It's basically just a big house in a mostly residential area that they've turned into a hostel. There a small entrance/reception area, then a big living room/hangout area with a tv and a bunch of couches and lounges ...
